As I’ve tended my plants,
I’ve realized something.
As I tend and nurture
my plants, I must tend and
nurture myself. Plenty of
healthy food for my
body and soul, weeding
out things that choke the
life out of me and pruning
away those dead places.
When I do these things,
I grow strong and
beautiful.
